Saddles and Spurs Is A Charity Event Benefitting:
VIA Health Partners
Operating since 1978, VIA Health Partners is a non-profit specialized in providing end-of-life care to 49 counties across North and South Carolina.
The comfort of our patients is our top concern and that is why we offer hospice care wherever a patient calls home. But for instances where acute, around-the-clock care is needed, our 6 hospice houses allow for comfortable care in a peaceful, home-like setting.
Hospice is comfort-oriented care focused on quality of life for patients with a diagnosis of months, weeks, or days to live. We will bring our care to you, whether in the home, assisted living community, long term care community, or hospital.
Davidson Cornelius Child Development Center (DCCDC)
The mission of Davidson Cornelius Child Development center is to provide high-quality, affordable early education and care for any child of our community without regard to race, ethnicity, religion or socioeconomic status, and to embrace and foster diversity in a safe learning environment.
They are the only center in the North Mecklenburg area that offers 5-star, full-time, affordable early education and child care with scholarship support for children ages 6 weeks to Pre-K. About 40-50% of our children receive sliding-scale scholarship support, ranging from 35‒75% of the total tuition cost
At DCCDC, they believe the path to equal opportunity starts in preschool. Access to quality education early in life has a tremendous impact on young lives and in breaking the cycle of poverty for families in need.
